Collages and Inspiration {fun}

I know it has been a while since I have posted. I want to be like a ninja, jumping in here when you least expect it.
...So we have been pretty darn busy with the photography!! which is wonderful, but I got lots going on in the stationery world too. If I only could find the time to photograph my own projects. In the mean time I have been finding therapeutic comfort in making collages of our photography. Inspiration boards have you. Our clients seem to be also enjoying them as well.
Here is one of our most recent wedding we shot. I love the colors. To see more of the wedding go visit our blog here.
Fun times. :)

Maine wedding {styling, photography, flowers}

As I mentioned a few posts back here in the sneak peek. Erin and I went to Maine to help style, arrange flowers for the reception, do the table scapes and well... photograph our great friend's wedding. We had a blast!! :) I wanted to share with you some photos. You can see the whole story of the days and more pics from the wedding and day after shoot we did over on our blog here and here. Some of the flowers were wild flowers pick around the property, with a others delivered the morning of from a local farmer. I had NO idea of what flowers I was going to be working with but it turned out great.
I rummaged the land for fun pieces of Bark to lay on the table too. I used old Ball jar lids as the tea light base, and burlap for the runners with a cross pattern of different fabrics and and extra flags (used for the bunting banners) as little place mattes. Each table had a different metal letter on it that spelled out LOBSTER so cute. The wedding was so much fun to style, attend, and photograph.

citrus fun...{invitations}

Remember this for this wedding? Well here are a closeup of the invites I never showcased. This is also the wedding I did the bouquets and bouts for and we shot!
This was a collaboration of talents for this invite. :) Right after I was done printing the envelopes, and had printed the first color for the invites, the press had a moment of retirement. As it is a 100+ year old press, this can happen at unexpected moments. So Thank goodness for my friend and master printer at Paper Mum Press. She swooped in and finished the job on her press. Although she uses a different press, we had to reorder all the plates and new paper to start over but it worked great. She is super fast with turn around time and as she is a printer, more then a designer (her words not mine) she will happily print any designs. The RSVP are digitally printed by me and with the bride's help we sewed the invites, and she did the envelope liners herself with a templet I made. It was a fun collaboration of talents to get this baby out in the mail!

Brett & Bowen's Fiesta fun! A Real wedding

As promised here is the most awesome wedding of Brett & Bowen that, we, Erin Hearts Court, just photographed. This would be my first, "multi" wedding. The invitations, the bouquets & bouts, photography, and some fun suggestions here and there. Oh not to mention we have all become great friends!! Which makes all of it even more fun. They actually thanked us in their speech at the wedding! We felt absolutely honored. :)
The wedding took place at the campus of Pamona College, where they met and fell and love. Even though it rained and the plan "B" indoor option had to take place everything was still so wonderful and it made for some wonderful soft lighting and gorgeous clouds for the outside portraits and the walk to the ceremony. Not to mention the party was still amazingly fun. When we were done shooting we stayed and danced to a few tunes!

here are my favs from the day go to our blog to see more!

A little photo love for us with them!
