Dirty Roots....{business cards}

Nothing dirty about it. well I suppose the dirt itself is.... but leave that to them. Susan Moffett single handily turns your tired backyard (or front) into a oasis of beauty, casual living , and stylish rustic tranquility. I had a grand time designing her logo and business cards to represent her whimsical landscaping business. Although we are currently growing her website, you should check it out anyways. this card is 3 color letterpress on chipboard printed by no other then my favorite company Spark.

citrus fun...{invitations}

Remember this for this wedding? Well here are a closeup of the invites I never showcased. This is also the wedding I did the bouquets and bouts for and we shot!
This was a collaboration of talents for this invite. :) Right after I was done printing the envelopes, and had printed the first color for the invites, the press had a moment of retirement. As it is a 100+ year old press, this can happen at unexpected moments. So Thank goodness for my friend and master printer at Paper Mum Press. She swooped in and finished the job on her press. Although she uses a different press, we had to reorder all the plates and new paper to start over but it worked great. She is super fast with turn around time and as she is a printer, more then a designer (her words not mine) she will happily print any designs. The RSVP are digitally printed by me and with the bride's help we sewed the invites, and she did the envelope liners herself with a templet I made. It was a fun collaboration of talents to get this baby out in the mail!

A Wine Stained Wedding...{the invitation}

Remember this save the date well the invitation just went out, wine stains and all. This is a mixed media piece, the wine stain is digitally printed by me and then letterpress printed by Spark. I love the simplicity of the border but it is spiced up with the wine stain and some more silly wording on the reception card and the rsvp....

Maine, the way life should be... {the invitations}

Here is a fun invitation for a wedding in Maine. Based on this inspiration board I put together. :) It is a 3 color letterpress invite and reception card, with a 2 color RSVP postcard, (check out the food option saying...LOVE IT... so funny :) ) and single color envelope. All designed by me with printing done by Spark Letterpress. This wedding is going to be so fun. WE are also getting to shoot it. The fabric in the picture is going to transform into a fun mixed matched triangle flag banner. I have never made a banner but feel as though I will love doing it. I can't stop staring at all the fun fabric. This wedding will be awesome, can't wait.

Winter wonderland with a little shabby chic... Save the Date.

AS PROMISED!!! Some Paper products!!! I just finished designing this Save the Date for my dearest friend. Their wedding is going to be in December in the beautiful setting of Whistler British Columbia. She is a very elegant girl but wants a soft whimsical feel to her wedding, what better way to say soft and whimsical then with some stitching of course. :) And how could I resist a little berry love for a winter december wedding! This is double sided with their monogram on the front and the save the date on the back.Her colors are Grey and Eggplant with of course some most beautiful lavender brought in later...Grey is the hottest color right now...so I just can't wait to see it all come together! I am excited to start designing the invite! Being that the olympics are one month after her wedding I sure hope there is not a bunch of construction going on!! :) And of course Erin Hearts Court will be capturing her most beautiful day, which we are so excited to do! These beauties were printed by no other then the wonderful company Spark! Ladies if you are a DIY bride and designed your invites yourself but want to have them lettterpress printed, Spark is the best, affordable and truely a pleasure to work with. OOps did I just promote DIY invites.... what am I doing to my business.... :) he he. Don't worry I still print on my own but some projects I like to send out.

Let's give it up for the liner

Nothing say's "I'm extra important" then a invitation lined with a colorful paper. A liner makes everything extra fun. Wouldn't you agree?
Envelope to liner: "You complete me!"

She's Krafty and She's just my type!

Yes the Power of the kraft... envelope that is. This is by far the number one choice by 95% of my clients. The softness, the organic, and the overall "non-wedding" look of this envelope is what draws my clients to choosing them as the very first impression and peek at the wedding that their guests will see. You say white - I say Kraft. Her beauty is just her simplicity, especially when letterpress or a fabulous over the flap to the front design has embellished her. This envelope has graced many weddings from the shabby chic to the playful sophisticate. It has been used with soft and bright palettes a like. Can you resist? I think not!
